Booking, pre-operative checks, the operative record, theatre stock and theatre-time pricing now run as one case in Wellness.

The Wellness surgery module now carries a surgical case from the request in clinic to the line on the invoice.
What is included:
- Booking. Surgery requests raised from the clinic encounter, with procedure, side, urgency, expected duration and anaesthesia type; a theatre schedule organised by theatre and room; conflicts over theatre, surgeon and equipment shown at booking time.
- The operative record. Pre-operative checks, anaesthesia stages, actual start and end times, the team present, implants and consumables, with consumables drawn from theatre stock in the same movement.
- Charging. Theatre time priced from the recorded times, surgeon and anaesthetist fees, implants and consumables attached to the case and flowing to the patient's invoice; the encounter flagged as operative so ward and billing rules apply downstream.
As with every Wellness module, each path was traced against the behaviour of the running system it replaces and verified against real cases, including how theatre time is priced and how a completed case marks the encounter for billing.
